Trust & protection
SAM Guarantee
How SAM protects buyers on a curated, fully mediated marketplace — reviewed sellers, approved services, and assistant-led delivery.
Last updated: June 17, 2026
What we guarantee
- Every seller is application-reviewed before they can publish services.
- Every service listing is admin-approved before it appears on the marketplace.
- All order communication runs through SAM — buyers and sellers do not chat directly.
- Deliverables are reviewed by SAM staff before the buyer sees them.
- A named SAM assistant is assigned to support each paid order.
- Disputes and delivery issues are handled inside the platform with an audit trail.
What buyers can expect
Before you order
Ask SAM about scope, timeline, or fit before checkout. Our team reviews pre-order messages so you get accurate answers without off-platform contact.
During delivery
Your assigned assistant coordinates delivery, reviews seller submissions, and helps resolve blockers. Use the order delivery room for updates — never move conversations elsewhere.
If work is not delivered on time or does not match what was agreed, open a pre-delivery dispute from your order page. Delivery steps pause while SAM investigates with full message and deliverable history.
After delivery
When you confirm delivery, a post-delivery protection window begins (typically 14 days for standard services, longer for Premium staff picks and sensitive categories like gaming or e-commerce). During this window you can open a SAM Guarantee claim if the work is incomplete, materially different, or not as described. Seller payout stays on hold until the protection window ends or the claim is resolved.
Subscription orders receive the same per-cycle protection and assistant continuity on each billing cycle.
What is not covered
- Transactions or communications that happen outside SAM.
- Services ordered after bypassing SAM checkout or payment rails.
- Outcomes where the buyer provided incorrect account credentials or access after SAM reviewed delivery proof.
- Abuse of the dispute process or fraudulent claims.
Trust levels
Seller and service trust levels (from New / Standard through Partner / Featured) signal how far a provider or listing has progressed in our curated program. See our trust levels guide for details.
